We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic Assistants in Nursing & Midwifery to join our casual pool at the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network.

About Us

The Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network (BHFLHN) serves a significant population in country South Australia, including the Barossa, Gawler district, Adelaide Hills, Southern Fleurieu, and Kangaroo Island.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive an hourly rate of $28.94 - $29.80, with 25% casual loading. Additionally, they will have access to various benefits, including flexible working arrangements, education and training opportunities, and career development support.

Job Description

As a Nursing and Midwifery Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting Registered Nurses with routine tasks, ensuring high-quality patient care and improving health outcomes. You will work collaboratively within an inter-disciplinary team, displaying values of Trust, Respect, Integrity, Collaboration, and Kindness.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must be enrolled as a student in an undergraduate program in nursing or midwifery and have completed relevant training for safe and competent performance. You should possess effective verbal and written communication skills, be driven, dynamic, and person-centered, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
