We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Support Professional to join our Senior School Inclusive Learning team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is committed to providing inclusive and evidence-based opportunities to students with diverse learning needs in Years 7 – 12.

About the Role

Working within the culture and ethos of Canberra Grammar School, you will work as part of the Inclusive Learning Department. Your primary responsibility will be to provide support to students with diverse learning needs, enabling them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.

The ideal candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact with students, parents, and teaching professionals. You will also have strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

In addition to your technical skills, you will have excellent administrative and organisational skills that will enable you to assist in the teaching of effective learning behaviours to students.

About You
  • You hold a Certificate IV in Learning Support/Disability Support or equivalent qualification, or are willing to study towards one.
  • You have aptitude for learning new IT systems, such as those used at Canberra Grammar School.
  • You possess a valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card and a current National Police Check.
  • You have full working rights within Australia.
