Job Summary:

Mining Employment Services is seeking a highly skilled Alternate Underground Manager to join our team at a new gold development with extensive open pit and underground operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical services support in planning and production for the mining operation.
  • Supervise the underground mine and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Manage daily production activities and oversee stoping design development and implementation.
  • Ensure safe and efficient execution of planning and production tasks in compliance with the plan.
  • Handle End of Month reporting and identify opportunities for infrastructure and optimization projects.
  • Prepare and monitor budgets and ensure procedures align with relevant legislation.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
  • First Class Mine Managers Certificate and experience with Datamine, Ventsim software or similar.

Experience:

Previous experience working on narrow vein underground gold mining is highly desirable.

Working Conditions:

This is a permanent position with a FIFO Perth roster of 8:6.
