Physiotherapist Assistant

We are seeking a highly passionate Physiotherapist Aide to join our care team.
This role will see you providing quality, person-centred care to all residents, including those with higher needs and challenging behaviours.
The focus of this role is to enhance the quality of life for our residents by building independence, supporting their emotional needs, and providing quality, individually tailored support.
As a Physiotherapist Aide, you will work closely with our Wellness Team Leader to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents
- Build strong working relationships with residents, colleagues, and family members
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident
- Support residents with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with recreational activities and events
Requirements:
- Cert III individual support and/or Cert IV in Allied Health
- Demonstrated experience in providing Physio care to the elderly
- Demonstrated training and knowledge of infection control and work health and safety principles and guidelines
- Ability to prioritise workloads
- Computer literacy
- Effective communication skills
- Current First aid/CPR certificate
- Understanding of WHS Principles
- Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and the Aged Care Code of Conduct
