We are seeking a dedicated Speech Therapist to join our team and deliver exceptional community-based care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients across Broome and surrounding communities.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support empowerment, improve access to vital health services, and contribute meaningfully to the health and wellbeing of individuals and families.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver culturally responsive, evidence-based speech and language assessments and interventions.
- Provide education and support to clients, families, and carers.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to promote speech services within our organisation and the broader community.
- Contribute to service quality and improvement initiatives.
- A tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology.
- Registration and membership with the Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong interpersonal and cultural sensitivity skills.
- Ability to work independently in remote or regional settings.
Highly regarded are experience working with Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services, background in disability and/or aged care sectors, and familiarity with our organisational model.
