About the RoleWe are seeking a Mine Closure Consultant (Engineer or Geoscientist) to join our operations team in Perth or Brisbane. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering and geoscience disciplines, with experience in managing technical projects, preparing regulatory documentation, and interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement mine closure planning and related studies
- Manage technical project teams, including trade-off and optimization studies
- Prepare proficient technical and regulatory documentation
- Foster and maintain client relationships
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (mining, civil, environmental, geo-environmental) or Geoscience (geology, hydrogeology, geochemistry, chemistry)
- Current registered as a Professional Engineer/Geoscientist or actively pursuing professional designation
- Experience in mine closure planning and related studies
- Regulatory permitting and writing experience is an asset
