Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Grounds Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to grounds maintenance and upkeep.

  • Mowing, edging, sweeping/blowing, pruning, hedge/tree trimming, weed control, and turf maintenance
  • Garden refreshing using woodchip, mulch, and new plants
  • External pressure washing of buildings as required
  • Removal of garden waste and transfer to authorized waste transfer stations
  • Providing job updates and following a proactive model for groundskeeping maintenance and repairs

You will work independently with minimal supervision, utilizing your strong problem-solving skills to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Prior experience in grounds/landscaping maintenance services
  • A valid driver's license with a good driving record and experience driving with a trailer
  • Experience using a ride-on mower is an asset
  • Ability to multitask, work with limited supervision, and make sound decisions quickly
  • A high standard of integrity and reliability
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication skills, and customer service skills
  • Familiarity with interfacing with technology used to monitor location/jobs
