At Compass Group, we are seeking dedicated and experienced cleaning professionals to join our team as FIFO Village and Mine Site Cleaners. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in remote mining camps, maintaining the health, safety, and comfort of workers living and operating in these environments.

The Role

Mining village cleaning staff are essential to maintaining the health, safety, and comfort of workers living and operating in remote mining camps. Your duties will include cleaning and servicing accommodation units, communal areas, offices, and amenities, as well as managing laundry services and adhering to strict hygiene and safety protocols.

Your Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and servicing a minimum of 20 accommodation units, communal areas, offices, and amenities
  • Managing laundry services
  • Adhering to strict hygiene and safety protocols

You will be required to travel to site on a rostered basis, often for weeks at a time. This is a physically demanding role that requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to perform tasks in hot weather conditions.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for individuals who possess a strong work ethic, reliability, and a genuine commitment to being part of a supportive team. If you have a background in hospitality, housekeeping, industrial or commercial cleaning and are willing to work in remote locations, we encourage you to apply.

  • Minimum 4 years' cleaning experience in large venues or FIFO experience
  • Background in hospitality, housekeeping, industrial or commercial cleaning
  • Strong understanding of cleaning techniques and safe use of equipment
  • High attention to detail and ability to perform physically demanding tasks
  • Willingness to work in remote locations and hot weather conditions
