About this Opportunity:

  • Permanent Full-Time Opportunity: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Industrial Refrigeration team as a Project Engineer.

  • Process and Navy Systems: As a Project Engineer, you will work on designing and delivering projects related to Industrial Refrigeration, Heat Pumps, Process Plant Cooling Applications, Gas Compression, and other related areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and prepare project deliverables required to initiate, develop, and execute assigned projects in industrial sustainability, refrigeration, or heavy industry.
  • Customer Engagement: Liaise directly with customers, suppliers, and internal factories to ensure the desired solutions meet the technical specifications required for the project.
  • Technical Innovation: Provide leadership to complete the project on time and within budget, ensuring a high quality of work and compliance to OHS&E standards.
  • Project Management: Effectively manage and execute projects to meet performance and project requirements, ensuring project financial status is regularly reviewed and updated.
  • Communication: Provide project updates to senior management and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of Industrial Refrigeration and Compressors, Rotary Screw and Recip Compressor maintenance, Service delivery efficiencies, Control system fundamentals, Project Management experience, and hands-on experience in delivery of maintenance and reactive works.
  • Engineering or Technical Qualifications: Engineering or technical qualifications in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering or refrigeration engineering.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written/report writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Customer Service Skills: Great customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Passion for Safety: Passion to drive front-line safety identification and resolution, with a strong commitment to ensuring a safe working environment.
