The company is seeking a skilled Forecasting Specialist to join their supply chain management team. The role involves developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts, implementing the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, and ensuring the organisation meets customer demand globally.
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and sales inputs.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to gather relevant information and insights.
- Utilise forecasting tools and software to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
As a Forecasting Specialist, you will work closely with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure execution of the S&OP plan. You will also analyse demand patterns and trends to provide actionable insights and prepare regular reports on demand forecasts, variances, and key metrics.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in supply chain management, experience within the manufacturing or mining industries, and proficiency in demand forecasting and inventory management software.
