Electrical Inspector

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical inspections on residential and commercial properties throughout metropolitan and regional TAS, adhering to all aspects of AS3000, AS3008, and TAS Electrical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out electrical inspections on residential and commercial properties.
  • Adhere to all aspects of AS3000, AS3008, and TAS Electrical requirements.

Requirements:

  • Grade Electrical Licence
  • CEC Accreditation (preferred but not essential)
  • Manual driver's licence
  • Current National Police Clearance
  • Current First Aid and CPR qualification

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years post trade experience
  • Ability to resolve day-to-day operational issues and solve technical problems with a high degree of autonomy and independent judgement
  • The ability to follow process and procedures correctly
  • A strong awareness of OH&S work practices
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems in residential, multi-residential, and apartment buildings
  • Comprehensive skills in the use of technology such as iPads and software/reporting systems
  • Exceptional customer service skills
