We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a GIS Analyst. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and experience in spatial data analysis.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are eager to learn and grow with a company that values innovation, collaboration, and professionalism. As a GIS Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting in the collection, processing, and analysis of spatial data, as well as developing and implementing geospatial solutions for our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in GIS or a related spatial discipline and experience in ArcGIS or QGIS suite of software. They will also have spatial data management, analysis, and geoprocessing experience, as well as a sound understanding of the Microsoft Office suite of products and working within the Windows operating system.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking spatial data processing, capture, and audit tasks for asset management projects
  • Extracting pertinent spatial data and related information from client databases and manipulating using ETL processes to suit project requirements
  • Producing high-quality cartographic figures
  • Regular reporting to team leader and project manager
