Job Overview

You will be involved in technical work across major Australian renewable energy projects with a focus on battery energy storage systems, solar and wind. This role provides the scope to influence project direction from early-stage development through to delivery, while keeping you closely involved in the engineering details.


About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will work alongside Project Managers, contractors and other Subject Matter Experts. You will lead the technical side, scoping, reviewing and guiding high voltage and primary engineering designs while others focus more on project management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scope and review technical specifications and high voltage/primary designs
  • Address engineering issues in early project development phases
  • Manage technical interfaces with contractors and stakeholders
  • Provide technical leadership across battery energy storage systems, solar and wind projects
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in large-scale Australian renewable energy projects
  • Blend of contractor management and hands-on engineering and design experience
  • Hybrid working arrangements
