Job Summary:

The Payroll Services team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join their dynamic team.

We deliver fortnightly pays to over 8,000 employees using SAP, with a complex and fast-paced operating environment that requires strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

This role involves guiding team members responsible for delivery of Payroll Services, engaging with stakeholders to manage payroll activities, systems and processes, and undertaking project and processing activities in accordance with relevant governance and timeframes.

The ideal candidate will have contemporary payroll and/or human resources experience, demonstrated leadership experience, and experience with payroll systems such as SAP or similar. They will also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to convey messages effectively and sensitively across multiple audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership as part of a team
  • Manage team members responsible for delivery of Payroll Services
  • Influence and implement business improvements related to operational practices, procedures and guidelines

Requirements:

  • Contemporary payroll and/or human resources experience
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Experience with payroll systems such as SAP or similar
