An Occupational Therapist plays a vital role in helping individuals with physical, emotional or cognitive disabilities to achieve independence and participate fully in their communities.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs to develop tailored treatment plans.
- Evaluate clients' progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality services.
- Maintain accurate records and provide detailed reports on client progress.
- Completion of tertiary education in Occupational Therapy and registration with the relevant board.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience working as an Occupational Therapist, preferably with disadvantaged client groups.
- Demonstrated expertise in assessment, treatment and evaluation within Occupational Therapy practice.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
