Teaching Opportunity at St Paul of the Cross Catholic Primary School

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Classroom Teacher to join our team at St Paul of the Cross Catholic Primary School. As a Classroom Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our students and contributing to a culture of excellence and innovation.

About the Role

This is a Full-Time, Permanent position that will commence in January 2025. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality, student-centered learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs of students
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge in developing a K-6 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies
  • Utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
  • Employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
  • Support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
  • Integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences

Requirements

  • A tertiary qualification in Education
  • Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
  • Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead
