Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Laboratory Operations Specialist in Central Adelaide Local Health Network. As part of Statewide Clinical Support Services (SCSS), you will contribute to effective and efficient laboratory services by undertaking roles which may include venepuncture and specimen collection, courier runs, sorting and accessioning specimens according to set protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • To manage internal and external customer enquiries effectively and professionally
  • To undertake functions requiring the practical application of acquired skills and knowledge
  • To assist with preparatory duties, storage and transport of specimens
Requirements
  • A current National Police Clearance (NPC)
  • A Working With Children Check (DHS)
  • Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred but not essential

The estimated salary range for this position is between $29,725 and $62,221 per annum, depending on the level of experience and qualifications.
