Job Overview

This is a crucial role where you will have a significant influence over the platform's technical and strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect and build a modern, high-performing data platform in Azure with a focus on near real-time streaming and high accuracy.
  • Design, develop, and optimize resilient data pipelines using tools like Databricks, dbt, Python, and SQL.
  • Develop and manage data models and ETL/ELT workflows to ensure data is accessible, accurate, and reliable.
  • Refactor and improve existing data services addressing critical performance and scalability challenges to support analytics and AI capabilities.

This role requires strong expertise in Python, advanced SQL, and experience architecting and building data platforms in a cloud environment.

Ideal Candidate:
  • 7+ years of backend or data engineering experience with a proven track record of shipping reliable and scalable solutions.
  • A bias towards shipping and learning with the ability to balance speed with a high-quality bar.
