Data Center BIM Specialist, Fleet Remediation Engineering Expert

About the Role
ENGINEERINGUK is seeking an experienced BIM/CAD professional to join our team as a Data Center BIM Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing and maintaining lifecycle sets for ACS and MEP drawing sets for our fleet of data centers.
In this role, you will provide support to the Fleet Remediation Engineering team through preparation of computer-generated ACS/MEP lifecycle drawing sets, ensuring that all as-built drawings are accurately updated. Your experience in Revit and AutoCAD will be utilized to update and create new BIM models from as-built documentation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural, structural, and civil drawings and experience working with large facilities such as data centers, factories, and hospitals. Additionally, you will assist in the development of tools and procedures for standards compliance to streamline workflow and assist with reporting metrics for the GL team.
Key Responsibilities
- Update CAD drawings, BIM models, and provide lifecycle document control.
- Facilitate updates of CAD drawings, BIM models, and provide lifecycle documentation through vendors.
- Assist the data center AWS teams with access, content requests, and submittals for As-Built & Record Documentation.
- Integrate all project discipline content to lifecycle sets updating and modifying existing models and drawing sets as required.
- Assist in development of automation using Lisp, Visual Basic, Dynamo, and other collaboration in a fast-paced environment to scheduled targets.
- Manage the issuing and revisions of drawings & models, providing concurrent content through collaborative onsite validation.
- Work on concurrent projects in multiple geographical locations.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Cumulative of 8+ years BIM/CAD experience in the area of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing building design & services focused on building engineering and construction technology.
- 5+ years Revit experience using Revit to design and coordinate large Mechanical/Electrical projects.
- 8+ years CAD experience in the area of MEP building design & services.
- 5+ years experience taking drawings from conceptual design through construction documents.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience with data center operations.
- 2+ years document control systems and maintenance.
- 2+ years facilities maintenance & operations software experience.
- Experience with Navis, Procore, Bim360.
- Data center professional accreditation.
