Automation Engineer - Test Strategy and Framework Development

We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join our team in developing and implementing test strategy, planning, and automation framework development. As an ideal candidate, you will have a solid background in test strategy, planning, and automation framework development. You will be responsible for designing and implementing Python-based automation frameworks, analyzing functional and non-functional requirements to design automated tests, developing, verifying, and maintaining test automation scripts and frameworks.

  • Design and implement Python-based automation frameworks.
  • Analyze functional and non-functional requirements to design automated tests.
  • Develop, verify, and maintain test automation scripts and frameworks.
Required Skills and QualificationsTechnical Skills
  • 8-12 years of experience in Automation Testing.
  • Strong proficiency in Python (pytest, pandas, boto3).
  • Experience with AWS services (e.g., Lake Formation, Glue, DMS, S3, Redshift, MWAA).
  • Skilled in automated systems and non-functional testing.
  • Familiarity with tools like Visual Studio Code, Jira, Confluence, IntelliJ, GitLab/GitHub, NEXUS, Maven, Grafana, Putty, JMeter/Gatling.
Soft Skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Advanced SQL skills for data analysis and reconciliation.
  • Experience with Cucumber or similar automation tools.
  • Exposure to microservices and container-based architecture testing.
  • Knowledge of security testing practices.
