The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Audit Manager to join our team. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for executing audits for large proprietary and listed companies, completing planning sections of audit files without supervision, and working with other teams to develop Financial Audit strategies and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute audits for large proprietary and listed companies
- Complete planning sections of audit files without supervision
- Work with other teams to develop Financial Audit strategies and methodologies
- Work closely with Senior Managers on the engagement, identifying potential problem areas or budget difficulties
- Coordinate engagements without manager assistance, reporting directly to Partner where appropriate
- Awareness of reporting and regulatory requirements across a variety of frameworks
- Analysis and documentation of internal controls and control environments
- Draft management letters and completion reports
- Coach and mentor junior colleagues and build internal relationships
- Liaise with clients and identify future opportunities
We are looking for a candidate with 4+ years of external audit experience in a large professional services firm, preferably with a CA/CPA qualification or working towards it. You should have a strong understanding of financial audit principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.
