As a Senior Geoscientist for Environmental Remediation, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-profile projects across sectors, including Defence, oil and gas, local and state government, energy, and mining.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional with a relevant university degree in environmental science, geology, hydrogeology, chemistry, or environmental engineering. You will have extensive experience in contaminated land assessment and remediation, with a proven track record in project management and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of project management, including planning, budgeting, financial management, scheduling, quality reviews, and communication with relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, and other project documentation, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Lead and manage contaminated sites projects for Tier 1 clients, building and maintaining strong relationships by understanding their needs and delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, and contributing to marketing initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A relevant university degree in environmental science, geology, hydrogeology, chemistry, or environmental engineering.
  • Extensive experience in contaminated land assessment and remediation, with a proven track record in project management and client engagement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering practical and innovative solutions.
  • Extensive knowledge of Australian and Western Australian technical guidance and regulations.
  • Experience in the assessment of upstream oil and gas and mining sites in northern Western Australia.
