About Early Childhood Education and Care

You can study online at your own pace and work close to home.

This qualification will equip you with the skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care and education to children. You'll learn how to create a safe, caring, non-judgmental, and supportive environment that promotes children's physical, emotional, and social development.

During your study, you'll receive:

  • A First Aid certificate
  • A CPR certificate
  • Ongoing support from industry-leading trainers

As an Early Childhood educator, you'll have the opportunity to work with our clients while you study. Our team will help you get compliant, answer any questions you have about working, and provide you with access to our recruitment platform with plenty of available roles.

You can expect to work in a variety of settings, including childcare centers, schools, and community organizations. You may work as a full-time, part-time, or casual educator, depending on your preferences and circumstances.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to demonstrate:

  • The ability to exercise fairness and equity, and to embrace diversity
  • An understanding of relevant standards, frameworks, and codes regulating early childhood care services
  • The ability to engage with children in a way that is respectful and appropriate
  • A current Valid Working with Children Check, as required by law

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident (for government funding)
  • Be willing to commit to a 12-month traineeship/WBL program
  • Have a valid COVID & flu vaccine, WWC, and Police check (if requested)
