About You:

  • 10+ years of experience in commercial software development designing, building, and operating distributed systems.
  • Expert-level software engineering skills in a complex environment, and the ability to be a polyglot engineer and pick up new languages as need
  • Deep knowledge and experience working with multi petabyte-scale distributed systems, using Spark and other open-source data technologies at scale
  • Extensive experience working on some of the most complex and large-scale systems in the market
  • Strong system architecture design experience and understanding; space/time complexity, API contract design and stewardship, cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/GCP)
