Kuwaii is a Melbourne-based fashion brand that prides itself on creating high-quality, intelligently designed clothing and footwear for women. Established in 2008 by designer Kristy Barber, Kuwaii is known for its unique and romantic aesthetic, which combines refined details with impeccable tailoring.
Our stores in Brunswick, Fitzroy, and the Melbourne's Cathedral Arcade offer a curated selection of our products, each carefully designed to last and be cherished. We believe in the importance of slow fashion and are committed to making a positive impact on the environment.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to join our team at our Brunswick store. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the store, including driving sales, improving customer service, and managing budgets. You will also be an active part of our Business Management team, contributing to the development of our business strategy and improving our business systems and organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the store, including staff management, customer service, and inventory control.
- Drive sales and improve customer service through effective visual merchandising, staff training, and customer engagement.
- Contribute to the development of our business strategy and improve our business systems and organisation.
- Work closely with our Wholesale and E-comm manager to support our wholesale and e-commerce channels.
- Manage events in store and maintain a consistently exceptional level of presentation.
Requirements
- At least two years of managing a boutique retail store.
- Proven successful experience in store management.
- Proven sales philosophy.
- Powerful leading skills and business orientation.
- People and customer management skills.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and mentor staff.
- Ability to propose innovative ideas to increase market share.
