Healthcare Specialist - Enabling Recovery

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team as a Healthcare Specialist.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in people's lives by providing excellent customer care and helping clients regain their independence and achieve their goals.

As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with allied health professionals to champion the health benefits of good work, supporting and empowering people through the recovery process.

About this role:

  • You will undertake assessments to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans, improving functional performance, independence, and work capacity.
  • You will design and implement intervention programmes using occupation to enhance clients' daily living skills and work participation.
  • You will identify barriers and create, implement, and monitor programs that support people to achieve maximal work participation.
  • You will understand various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes, empowering your clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals.
  • You will liaise with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.

What we're looking for:

  • Australian recognised degree qualification in Nursing and full AHPRA Accreditation.
  • A willingness to learn and positively impact people's lives in tangible ways.
  • The ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
  • The ability to work in the community, requiring a driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • A current or able to obtain Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.
