Personal Care Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to support an individual with Dravet Syndrome in Aldinga Beach. This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to make a positive impact on the life of a participant.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team to provide daily care and support, including manual handling and assistance with activities of daily living. They will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for the participant.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to have a current NDIS worker check and relevant qualifications in disability or aged care.

This is a temporary position, and we are looking for individuals who can commit to working across multiple shifts, including Friday nights. The participant requires 2:1 assistance, and all workers will be trained by a registered nurse to conduct PEG feeding, medication, and seizure management.
