Risk And Compliance Manager
About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Risk and Compliance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for supporting the design and implementation of a new Risk and Compliance framework.
This role is ideal for an individual with strong leadership skills and experience in risk management. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to provide SME expertise and support the development of risk reduction strategies.
The successful candidate will have exceptional project management skills and be able to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously. They will also possess excellent writing skills and be able to draft comprehensive recommendations and decisions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design and implement the risk and compliance framework including drafting policies, SOPs, and work instructions
- Support business complete periodic risk and compliance assessments
- Mitigate strategic and operational risks and develop risk reduction strategies
- Help the business develop metrics, indicators, and alerts to stay on top of risks
- Design and conduct compliance training programs for management, employees, and contractors
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 6+ years' experience in a risk or compliance role
- Exceptional project and change management expertise
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence staff at all levels of the organization
- Strong background in developing and delivering training in compliance and risks
- Detail-oriented and ability to analyze large amounts of data and draw conclusions
- Process improvement orientated with ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at the same time
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility
- Effectively and independently works collaboratively with a wide variety of individuals
- Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information; utmost integrity and discretion of confidential and sensitive matters
