About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled C++ Software Engineer to join our team at Kapital Consulting Fintech Recruitment & Executive Search. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance software solutions for financial markets trading, with a focus on HFT and low-latency systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement algorithms for automated trading strategies, focusing on efficiency and low latency
  • Optimise code and infrastructure to achieve maximum performance in high frequency trading environments
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and stability of our trading systems

Requirements:

  • Experience in Software Development within a high-frequency trading environment, with exposure to exchange connectivity / high performance trading / Real-time low latency
  • Expertise in C++ - must have recent experience
  • Knowledge of electronic trading protocols and exchanges
  • Familiar with smart order router (SOR), market data, order execution, Market Connectivity FIX
  • Experience with algorithmic trading strategies and quantitative analysis
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Must have full working rights in Australia
