About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Maritime Structural Engineer to join our team in Sydney, Newcastle, or Brisbane. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing engineering assignments, ensuring projects meet timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute detailed engineering projects in maritime sectors, including ports, harbors, seawalls, and navigational equipment.
  • Manage small to medium-sized projects in adherence to QHSE systems, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
  • Develop commercial, technical, and financial proposals for engineering ventures, showcasing your expertise and skills.
  • Plan and schedule project resources effectively to meet deadlines, collaborating with colleagues to achieve project goals.
  • Conduct preliminary studies, create a basis of Design and specification documents, and progress designs from concept to detailed phases.
  • Support senior team members and mentor junior engineers in technical tasks and professional growth, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and development.
  • Contribute to business development by engaging with clients, preparing capability statements, and marketing materials, highlighting your expertise and the company's capabilities.
  • Review engineering outputs, both internal and external as required, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct site visits and travel as necessary, representing the company and its values.
