About This Role

This Cyber Security Specialist role is responsible for implementing and managing security measures to protect our organisation's digital assets.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft Cloud App Security (MCAS), Microsoft Sentinel, Windows Defender, and Cyber standards such as CIS.

This role requires strong understanding of network security, endpoint protection, and cloud security.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Implement and manage Microsoft Cloud App Security (MCAS) to monitor and control cloud applications.
  2. Utilise Microsoft Sentinel for threat detection, investigation, and response.
  3. Integrate and configure Copilot for security and review setup against use cases.
  4. Deploy and manage Windows Defender to protect endpoints from cyber threats.
  5. Ensure compliance with Cyber standards like CIS by conducting regular audits and assessments.

What You Will Need

  • Experience in implementing and managing MCAS, Microsoft Sentinel, and Windows Defender.
  • In-depth knowledge of Cyber standards like CIS and experience in ensuring compliance.
  • Strong understanding of network security, endpoint protection, and cloud security.
  • Experience with other security tools and technologies.
  • Knowledge of scripting and automation for security tasks.
  • Familiarity with incident response and forensic analysis.
