About the Role
We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced educational leader to join our Executive Leadership Team as Deputy Principal. The successful applicant will be a leader who has the energy, drive, and commitment to help further develop and improve our school community.
The Deputy Principal will be responsible for:
- Leading the development and implementation of strategic plans to drive school improvement
- Providing coaching and mentoring to staff to enhance teaching and learning practices
- Leading the design and delivery of curriculum and pedagogy to promote academic excellence
- Developing and maintaining a positive school culture that supports student wellbeing and staff engagement
- Leading the development and implementation of systems and processes to improve school operations
- Leading self and others through change and transition
- Building strong relationships with parents and the wider community
Requirements
To be successful, you will:
- Have a strong Christian faith and be committed to the College's vision and values
- Hold a relevant tertiary qualification, preferably with a postgraduate qualification in leadership, pedagogy, or business administration
- Have a current Employee Working with Children Check and NESA accreditation (or be eligible)
- Display excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Be passionate about school improvement and have a track record of achieving results
