Senior Mental Health Clinician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Clinician to join our Emergency Mental Health Team at The Royal Children's Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health care to children and adolescents presenting to our Emergency Department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical assessment and intervention to children and adolescents with mental health presentations
- Collaborate with Emergency Department staff to ensure seamless care coordination
- Liaise with community agencies and services to maximize service coordination and cooperation
- Contribute to research and evaluation activities to improve mental health care outcomes
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Current registration as a Psychologist, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the applicable Health Practitioner Board
- Extensive experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting
- Strong clinical skills and experience in trauma-informed care
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
