Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $1,000 per week during Winter and $1,200 during Summer, before tax. Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and skilled individual to join our production team as a Machine Operator. The role involves conducting cleaning and lubrication tasks, maintaining machinery to prescribed standards, and carrying out product and process changeovers/washouts. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of mechanisms, motion, and pneumatics, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct cleaning and lubrication tasks as required
  • Maintain machinery to prescribed standards
  • Carry out product and process changeovers/washouts
  • Work with Professional Maintenance and Quality Control staff to achieve zero breakdowns and defects
  • Ensure optimal usage of resources and minimize waste during production
Requirements
  • BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF MECHANISMS, MOTION, AND PNEUMATICS IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION
  • EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION AND TEAMWORK SKILLS ARE ESSENTIAL
  • RELEVANT EXPERIENCE IN MACHINE OPERATIONS, FORKLIFT, WAREHOUSE, AND INVENTORY OPERATION IS PREFERRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL
