About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Designer to join our team in Perth, Australia. As a key member of our structural engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering structural elements for onshore and mining facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Checking 2D drawings produced from platforms such as Micro Station 3D, PDMS, or similar 3D modeling tools.
  • Producing 2D drawings as needed.
  • Supporting the coordination of work across multiple office locations.
  • Engaging in cross-disciplinary collaboration to ensure successful fulfillment of customer requirements.
  • Proactively addressing any discrepancies between project specifications and customer expectations.
  • Maintaining clear communication with the structural engineering team and project stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Possession of a 2- or 3-year technical diploma with discipline-specific training, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Extensive experience in structural design within the mining, energy, and/or infrastructure sectors.
  • Prior experience working on medium to large projects in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Proficiency in working within complex 3D modeling environments using AVEVA or similar platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivery and service.
  • Extensive experience in performing detailed checking roles for major projects.
  • A solid understanding of PDMS or similar 3D modeling software.
  • Proficiency in Micro Station or AutoCAD.
