This is a Senior Marketing Specialist role at the City of Greater Geelong. The successful candidate will lead digital and traditional marketing campaigns, manage website content, and support the Marketing team.
The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Marketing, PR, Advertising, Communications or a relevant field and/or significant senior leadership experience in Digital Marketing.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and analyse digital performance using analytics tools, providing insights and making data-driven adjustments to improve campaign effectiveness.
- Manage and optimise website to enhance user experience and engagement while staying current with best practices in digital marketing.
- Mentor and guide Marketing Officers on SEO and SEM best practices, ensuring the team's growth and adherence to best practices in digital marketing.
- Support change initiatives and contribute to the business unit's culture to ensure it is inclusive, customer focused, results driven and accountable.
- Align work activities to the department Business Plans and Strategy, supporting implementation and balancing value for our community and customers, within financial and resource constraints.
- A tertiary qualification in Marketing, PR, Advertising, Communications or a relevant field.
- Significant senior leadership experience in Digital Marketing.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and practices related to marketing and promotions.
- Demonstrated people skills to support, influence, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders.
- Well-developed writing, presentation, and speaking skills to align with stakeholders and achieve support for task outcomes.
