About the Company

Reporting to a highly experienced and supportive payroll manager, this role provides the opportunity to develop skills in a collaborative environment. Your duties will include:

• Verifying data in the payroll system to ensure accuracy during data uploads for EBA Award increases, while keeping up to date with any legislative changes.
• Providing assistance to managers and employees on all payroll-related matters.
• Building strong internal relationships and delivering prompt, efficient customer service by resolving payroll inquiries in a timely manner.
• Providing advice, guidance, and support to line managers and staff, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and applicable legislation.
• Conducting payroll audits to ensure accuracy in payroll systems and adherence to governance standards.

Skills and Experience

• Previous payroll experience in a similar end-to-end role is essential.
• Exposure to high-volume payroll systems, preferably using SAP.
• Experience with large payroll systems is desired.
• An in-depth understanding of payroll legislation and processes.
• Exceptional communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to deal with high pressure and work to tight deadlines while working independently.
