About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic - Field Service to join our team at Cummins. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our mining customers, performing breakdown and preventative tasks, and providing support for our new Tier 4 HHP engines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a first-class service to our mining customers as a travelling Field Service Technician
  • Perform breakdown and preventative tasks
  • Deliver support for our new Tier 4 HHP engines, the most advanced HHP product on the market following fully Cummins technical training
Requirements
  • Relevant trade qualification (Plant or Heavy Commercial Vehicle/Heavy Diesel)
  • A valid driver's license
  • Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products, mining equipment, engines and similar applications is preferred

  • Competitive above award hourly rate + mine site allowance paid as a permanent salary
  • Overtime penalties for all work above standard Monday – Friday 38-hour work week
