This is an opportunity for a seasoned Risk Management Specialist to support the work of two key projects: the 65MP Upgrade Project and the Payments Operations Program.
Main Responsibilities- Identify and manage risk throughout the project lifecycle, providing expert advice on risk matters and ensuring stakeholders have accurate information.
- Collaborate with project management offices to incorporate relevant risks and mitigation actions into Steering Committee and status reports.
- Assist executive leadership in promoting a culture of risk awareness among project teams and encouraging proactive approach to risk management.
- Facilitate workshops to identify risks, manage risk registers, and monitor mitigation actions with project managers.
You must have advanced knowledge and experience in:
- Developing and implementing risk management plans and procedures on large-scale projects.
- Managing project risks and reporting, with at least 10 years of experience.
- Working with senior stakeholders to enhance risk capability within the organisation.
- Producing visual and insightful risk reports for effective decision making and management oversight.
- Operating within a three lines of accountability model to ensure effective challenge and transparency.
- Maintaining stakeholder relationships at a senior level.
- Holding relevant tertiary qualifications in business, construction, and/or technology risk.
This role will report directly to the Project Director, 65MP Project, and you will be an integral part of both the 65MP and Payments Operations Project management teams.
