About the Role:We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will have expertise in psychological assessments and interventions for individuals with mental health concerns.
As a Mental Health Specialist, you will lead impactful care, delivering clinical treatment, disability support, and strategic referrals to essential services. Through a cross-system approach, you will champion holistic interventions that respond to each individual's unique needs.
Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop effective intervention plans.
- Collaborate with consumers and carers, upholding recovery principles in mental health service provision.
- Provide clear, timely written and verbal communication with clients, families, and team members.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Demonstrate computer literacy and proficiency with relevant software and systems.
- Recognised four-year tertiary qualification in Psychology and registration with Psychology Board of Australia.
- Experience in psychological assessments and interventions for individuals with mental health concerns.
- Ability to collaborate meaningfully with clients and carers, with a commitment to recovery principles.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal).
- Current driver's license and willingness to use it for work purposes.
- Computer literacy and proficiency with relevant software and systems.
