Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Guidance
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents.
- Care Delivery
- Ensure that all care is delivered in accordance with our policies and procedures.
- Monitor and review the care of our residents, making adjustments as necessary to ensure their needs are met.
- Team Management
- Supervise and support nursing staff, providing guidance and feedback to ensure they are meeting their full potential.
- Contribute to the development of our nursing team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
Requirements
- Qualifications and Experience
- Current registration with the NMC as a Registered General Nurse.
- Relevant care home experience, including experience in medication administration, wound care, infection control, and pressure area care.
- Skills and Abilities
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
