About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanic Technician to join our team at Busways. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, inspecting, reconditioning, repairing, and assembling our fleet to ensure safety, quality, and Busways standards are followed at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair heavy vehicle diesel engines and associated systems.
  • Maintain all company vehicles and assets in accordance with Manufacturer's guidelines.
  • Ensure all maintenance work is performed according to company procedures.
  • Attend breakdowns and carry out any field-related mechanical repairs.
  • Effectively and efficiently communicate any safety or maintenance issues.
  • Maintain clean workshop practices.

Requirements
  • Relevant trade qualifications essential (MVTC).
  • Experience in the service and maintenance of vehicles, with a focus on heavy vehicle diesel engines.
  • Sound level of verbal and written communication.
  • Experience in working in a team environment on daily maintenance and repair schedules.
