About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Fitter to join our team at Mt Arthur Coal, a leading coal production site in the Hunter Valley region of NSW. As a Heavy Diesel Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy mobile plant equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our mining operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform quality preventative maintenance, replacements, and repairs on heavy mobile plant equipment
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify hazards to ensure a safe working environment
  • Diagnose and repair equipment issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to achieve maintenance goals and objectives
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of maintenance activities

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a Mechanical Fitter or Heavy Duty Diesel trade qualification, with experience in mobile maintenance and diagnostics. You will also have familiarity with heavy mobile plant equipment and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
