Auxiliary Firefighter: Emergency Response Specialist

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services is seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team as an Auxiliary Firefighter. The successful candidate will work closely with our emergency response team to provide high-quality fire and emergency services to the community.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to emergency incidents and provide fire and emergency services to the community.
- Contribute to community education activities to promote fire safety and emergency preparedness.
- Develop and maintain competencies through regular training and drills to ensure safety and effectiveness on the fire ground.
- Maintain required attendance standards for emergency incidents and training.
- Operate specialist firefighting and rescue equipment in a safe and effective manner.
- Employer's written consent to attend incidents and emergencies.
- Live or work within a reasonable distance of an auxiliary fire station.
- Australian Permanent Resident Status.
- Manual C Class driver's licence.
