Emergency Medicine Consultant Job Opportunity

  • We are seeking an experienced specialist Emergency Medicine Consultant to join our team in regional Western Australia.

About The Role:

  • The successful candidate will contribute to the provision of high-quality healthcare across our regional hospitals, handling a broad spectrum of cases ranging from high-acuity scenarios to trauma presentations and interhospital transfers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist emergency medical care and ensure smooth patient flow for patients presenting to the Emergency Department.

  • Clinical leadership to ensure optimal outcomes to patients through working with the multidisciplinary team including rural generalists.

  • Supervise the work of Registrars and Junior Medical Officers (JMO's) and be involved in teaching both JMO's and medical students.

Requirements:

  • Fellowship of the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine (FACEM).

  • ACEM trainees who are in their penultimate year of training and have completed all training requirements are also eligible to apply.

What We Offer:

  • 11.5% Superannuation Guarantee from July 2024.
