**The Role**

We are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist Team Leader to join our team in Melbourne's south-east region. As a key member of our community-based team, you will lead a group of therapists and manage your own caseload while providing professional support to the team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Liaising with the community team, including plan and support managers, and therapists
  • Managing a small caseload of patients with varying needs
  • Applying expertise to provide ongoing professional support to the team

**What We Offer**

In this role, you can expect:

  • A competitive salary package ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 per annum, plus superannuation and benefits
  • A 30-kilometre capped radius for travel within Melbourne's south-east region
  • A mix of clinical and non-clinical responsibilities

  • An extensive induction program to ensure a smooth transition into the role
  • A high degree of autonomy to manage your work effectively

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
  • Registration with the Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
  • At least four years' experience in a therapeutic role
  • Variety of clinical skills and experience
  • Patient-focused and service-oriented approach
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Strong time management and organisational abilities
  • Ability to build and maintain a loyal patient base, as well as mentor junior staff members
  • Effective stakeholder engagement and education skills
  • Active listening and critical thinking skills
  • Experience working in acute hospital or private sector settings
  • Proficiency in video conferencing software
  • A current driver's licence
  • Eligibility to work permanently in Australia

**Location**

This position is based in Melbourne's south-east region, with opportunities to work in both clinic and community settings.
