Leadership Position

The role of Educational Leader is a key position in our educational setting, responsible for leading the implementation of our vision and mission.

As an Educational Leader, you will drive the development of our Quality Improvement Plan (QIP), ensuring it reflects our commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementation Drive: Lead the implementation of best practices across the service, ensuring alignment with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS).
  • Educator Support: Mentor and support educators in curriculum design, intentional teaching, and reflective practices that enhance learning outcomes.
  • Professional Development: Contribute to the planning and delivery of professional learning sessions, fostering team discussions that spark pedagogical innovation and shared vision.
  • Environment Creation: Ensure learning spaces are inclusive, engaging, and tailored to children's interests and developmental stages, creating an environment where every child feels seen, supported, and inspired to thrive.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree or diploma in early childhood education, strong understanding of contemporary early childhood pedagogy, and proven experience in an educational leader role. Key attributes include excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, as well as a collaborative and proactive approach to early childhood education.

Required qualifications include:

  • Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved)
  • Strong understanding of EYLF and NQS and contemporary early childhood pedagogy
  • Proven experience in an educational leader role
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative, proactive, and reflective approach to early childhood education
