**Support Worker Role**

We are seeking a Disability Support Worker to join our team and provide holistic support services to individuals with disabilities.

The role involves assisting clients with daily personal care tasks, medication management, meal preparation, household chores, transportation, and emotional and social support.

The ideal candidate will possess a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification, current First Aid Certification, a valid Driver's License, and Working with Children Check.

The successful candidate will be empathetic, have personal and professional integrity, and be willing to work shift hours.

As a Disability Support Worker, you will make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Personal Care: assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility aids, and equipment.
  • Medication Management: administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals and ensure clients take prescribed medications.
  • Meal Preparation: plan and prepare meals considering dietary restrictions or special diets.
  • Household Tasks: assist with cleaning, laundry, and shopping to maintain a safe and hygienic living environment.
  • Transportation: drive clients to appointments, activities, or social outings.
  • Emotional and Social Support: provide companionship and engage in activities promoting social and emotional well-being.

**Requirements:**

  • Certificate III in Individual Support/Higher or relevant qualification.
  • Current First Aid Certification.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • National Police Certificate.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
