About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Departmental Administrative Support Officer to join our team in the Cancer Directorate. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing confidential secretarial, administrative and reception services to Consultants within the Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a confidential secretarial, administrative and reception service to Consultants within the Department
  • Use a teamwork approach, coordinating day-to-day workloads within the group and ensuring that all work is completed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Liaise with other hospital departments and staff to identify requirements/priorities and provide guidance and advice to less experienced staff in the group
  • Be part of the team providing support to the Department and may be required to rotate to other sites as needed
