We are seeking a skilled Psychiatric Nurse to join our team and provide exceptional care to patients with severe mental illness in an acute inpatient setting.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients. As a Psychiatric Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Risk assessment and management: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' risk factors and develop strategies to mitigate potential harm.
- Mental state assessment and care planning: Work closely with patients to understand their mental health needs and develop personalized care plans that address their unique circumstances.
- Knowledge of acute psychiatry nursing care and practice: Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in acute psychiatry nursing, applying this knowledge to deliver evidence-based care.
- Current registration as a Nurse Division 1 or 3 with AHPRA: Ensure you meet the necessary qualifications and registration requirements to practice as a Nurse in Australia.
